Returns Policy

Precious metals are commodity products whose market price changes by the second. Because of this, our return policy is industry-standard and conservative. Please read this policy carefully before placing an order.
1. All Sales Final on Bullion
All sales of precious metals products — including gold, silver, platinum, palladium, copper, coins, bars, rounds, and related bullion items — are final once payment is confirmed and the order has been shipped. We do not accept returns of these items for buyer’s remorse, change of mind, or market price changes.
2. Order Cancellations Before Shipment
You may request a cancellation of your order before it has shipped by emailing us at support@absolutebullion.com. We will make a reasonable effort to honor cancellations submitted promptly, but we cannot guarantee a cancellation if the order has already entered processing or been released to the carrier.
If a cancellation is approved before shipment:
- If the current market value of the canceled items is equal to or lower than the price you paid, you will receive a full refund of the order amount, less any non-refundable processing fees.
- If the current market value of the canceled items is higher than the price you paid (meaning we would face a market loss if we cancel and re-sell), you may be responsible for the difference, known as a “market loss fee.” We will communicate any market loss before processing your cancellation, and you may choose to proceed with the original order instead.
This market loss provision is standard practice in the precious metals industry and exists because metals are commodity products whose price we cannot control.
3. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
We do accept returns or exchanges in the following limited cases:
- The item received is materially different from what you ordered (wrong product, wrong weight, wrong year/series, etc.).
- The item arrived with damage that prevents normal use or that materially reduces its collectible or bullion value.
- The product is defective in a way that cannot be explained by ordinary handling, packaging, or shipment.
To initiate a claim under this section:
- Contact us at support@absolutebullion.com within 48 hours of delivery.
- Include your order number, photographs of the item and any packaging, and a clear description of the issue.
- Do not open or alter sealed packaging beyond what is necessary to inspect the item — original sealed packaging is often required for assessment.
- Do not ship anything back until we have authorized the return and provided return instructions.
If we authorize a return for damage or error on our end, we will cover the return shipping cost and either replace the item, exchange it, or refund your payment, at our discretion.
4. Sell-Back / Buy-Back
A “return” is different from a “buy-back.” If you wish to sell precious metals back to us, that is a separate transaction priced at our current buy rate, not your original purchase price. We do not currently offer an active buy-back program. If you have inventory you’d like us to evaluate, contact support@absolutebullion.com and we’ll let you know whether we can make an offer.
5. Unauthorized Returns
Items sent back to us without prior written authorization, items returned outside any agreed time window, or items returned in altered condition may be refused or held at the customer’s expense. We are not responsible for items sent to us without authorization.
6. Refunds
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method used at checkout. Depending on your bank or card issuer, refunds may take 5 to 10 business days to appear in your account after we issue them.
